On Thursday 9th May 2019, Regent’s International School, Bangkok School Board, staff students and parents assembled to pay their respects to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun.

Mr. Peter Hogan, the Principal, welcomed everyone and opened the celebrations at the school auditorium. There was a Thai classical dance by Primary and Secondary students followed by a video presentation covering the history of the coronation and footage of the coronation of King Rama X. This was followed by a specially commissioned blessing poem for the King Rama X and a performance of the new anthem composed for His Majesty.

Regent’s International School is founded by Dr. Virachai Techavijit, Founder and Chairman of Regent’s International Schools and the school hosted this ceremony to honor and express the appreciation of His Majesty’s compassion for the Thai people.
